LifeLabs named one of Canada’s Best Employers for Company Culture in 2025 by Forbes Canada

TORONTO, ON (August 11, 2025) – LifeLabs is proud to announce that it has been named one of Canada’s Best Employers for Company Culture in 2025 by Forbes Canada.

This prestigious award is based on results of an independent survey conducted by Forbes and Statista, which gathered anonymous feedback from 40,000 Canadians working for large organizations across the country. Participants evaluated their employers across key cultural dimensions, including leadership, inclusivity, workplace atmosphere, purpose alignment, and employee engagement.

“We are deeply honoured to be recognized by Forbes for something so central to who we are,” said Charles Brown, President and CEO of LifeLabs. “Our organization’s culture isn’t only a product of our employee offerings and programming, it’s something we shape and foster together. It’s how each of us shows up every single day, for our patients and for each other, anchored by a shared purpose: Empowering Healthier Canadians. From our labs and couriers to our Patient Service Centres and corporate teams, our people are the reason our culture thrives. Our people are the reason we can proudly say we’re empowering millions of Canadians to live healthier lives, as one caring, agile, and customer-driven team.”

At LifeLabs, culture is something lived and felt throughout the organization. That spirit is reflected in the voices of employees who take pride in the purpose behind their work:

LifeLabs’ commitment to innovation, quality, and accessibility ensures that people across Canada, no matter their background or location, can receive the diagnostic care they need. Being part of a team that helps support better health and peace of mind for so many Canadians is not just a job to me, it’s something I truly believe in.”

 — Vicky V., Lab Technician

“Knowing that millions of patients get treated every year, I can really consider the scale of the good we do at Lifelabs and it makes me proud to tell others when they ask me what I do.”

— Luc A., Senior Financial Analyst

“Our daily actions show how much we are committed to helping Canadians. My remote team is the only lab in some BC communities, which means we have a big responsibility in aiding peoples health care journeys. My main goal is to try and make the visits and appointments more accessible and easy so they can make the next decision in their healthcare journey. Reminding my staff why we do what we do, and remembering that everyone is loved by someone, helps me stay focused on our mission.”

— Rebecca H., District Manager, Patient Services

This recognition by Forbes underscores the impact of LifeLabs’ people-first culture and its ongoing dedication to fostering a workplace where purpose, compassion, and excellence are shared across all teams.
