At LifeLabs, we are proud Canadians, serving Canadians from coast to coast. In the “Empowering Healthier Canadians” story series, we’re showcasing inspiring stories from the communities we support and how we’re continuing our legacy of advancing patient care through our values of caring, agility, teamwork, and a customer-centred approach. Today, we’re sharing a story from the Burnaby Square Patient Service Centre, highlighting how kindness and compassion empower healthier Canadians every day.
Going Above and Beyond to Show Caring
My mother is 90 and has dementia. It’s tough for her to wait, and she is very anxious when getting bloodwork. Dem, the person at the front desk, was extremely efficient, kind, thoughtful, and inclusive. She made accommodations for my mother’s disabilities and concerns. It made all the difference, and we were able to have a visit that resulted in minimal distress to my mom. Thanks so much to the Burnaby team at 6th St and 10th Ave! — Lisa T. – Google Review
