Dr. Dana Nyholt, PhD, FCACB, DABCC, is a Clinical Biochemist at LifeLabs, where she helps ensure patients receive high-quality, timely results that support better health outcomes.
Dr. Nyholt earned her BSc from McMaster University and completed her MSc in Immunology and Microbiology and PhD in Clinical Biochemistry at McGill University, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Chemistry at the University of Toronto. Before joining LifeLabs, she was a Clinical Biochemist at Mount Sinai Hospital.
A Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (FCACB) and certified by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry (DABCC), Dr. Nyholt has advanced laboratory medicine through research, leadership, and education.
She has held leadership roles as Past-President of the Ontario Society of Clinical Chemists (OSCC), Chair of the Canadian Academy of Clinical Biochemistry (CACB) Certification Committee, Vice-Chair of the CACB, and member of the Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare (IQMH) Endocrinology & Immunology Committee.
