Based on recent direction provided by the Ontario Ministry of Health, LifeLabs will be discontinuing PCR testing for the combined detection of COVID-19, Flu A, Flu B, and RSV from our community test menu.

At this time, LifeLabs can only perform this testing on samples collected by Retirement Homes & Long-Term Care Homes as outlined by the ministry’s guidelines. The test is not available for collection at LifeLabs’ patient service centres. If you require this test for your patient, please refer them to their local hospital.

Please note that LifeLabs continues to offer COVID-19 PCR testing via our private pay program, ClearPass or for travel purposes, FlyClear.
