Since Dr. Wozniak joined LifeLabs as Hematology Discipline Head in November 2010, she

has taken on several additional roles including Laboratory Director for both Kennedy and London Labs and Deputy Ontario Medical Director. She is currently involved in several projects at LifeLabs including the national hematology platform upgrade project, optimization and standardization of seminal analysis testing, and has recently completed validation and implementation of 10-colour flow cytometry.

Dr. Wozniak obtained her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2006. After training for one year in family medicine she went on to complete her residency training in Laboratory Medicine at The Ottawa Hospital. She obtained her FRCPC certificate in Hematological Pathology in May 2010. Dr. Wozniak serves as a laboratory assessor for the Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare and the College of American Pathologists laboratory. She is also a member of the Ontario Association of Medical Laboratories Hematology Committee. Dr. Wozniak has a passion for teaching and is an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto and will soon offer a hematopathology residency training rotation at LifeLabs.
