LifeLabs goes to the 2017 Special Olympics Provincial Summer Games Peel, ON!

As proud sponsors of Special Olympics' Healthy Athletes program, LifeLabs is excited to share our itinerary while attending and volunteering at the Peel Region Summer Games.

Opening Ceremony at the Powerade Centre

Thursday, July 13

Kicking off the Summer Games, LifeLabs employees will be in the stands cheering on the athletes at the Opening Ceremonies in Brampton at the Powerade Centre.

Thursday, July 13 – Saturday, July 15

The Summer Games begin with almost 800 athletes competing in various sports. The Healthy Athletes Screening tents will be up and running to provide health screenings to athletes and LifeLabs employee volunteers will be there to help! The Healthy Screening tents will focus on seven different disciplines: Health Promotion, Fit Feet, MedFest, Special Smiles, Healthy Hearing, Opening Eyes, and Fun Fitness. You can find LifeLabs at the Health Promotion tent. Hours of operation and location listed below.

Dunton Athletic Fields, Mississauga

Open Friday, July 14 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm EST

Open Saturday, July 15 from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm EST


The LifeLabs Cheer Squad will cheer on adopted athletes, Gary Nuhn, competing in soccer, and Jen Crispin, competing in softball. See soccer and softball game schedules below.
