Together with other clinically accepted tests and procedures, NMP-22 offers earlier detection in facilitating the diagnosis and management of bladder cancer.
Specific Sample Requirements
A single void urine specimen will be collected at a LifeLabs Patient Service Centre. Specimens must be stabilized immediately upon collection. No appointment is necessary.
Turnaround Time: 3 weeks from time of collection
Advantages of Assay
Noninvasive. Increased sensitivity for low-grade tumors. Testing can be done as early as 5 days post-TURP surgery or cystoscopy.
